Cryo-EM Chemistry Nobel Prize: Your thoughts? Plant examples?
Does anyone have a collection of articles / molecules from plant science studied with cryo-EM?
What do you think of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for Cryo-EM? I love
looking at structures and think that being able to visualize proteins
adds to our understanding and ability to conceptualize what is going on
(as well as develop targetted mutants), so I'm excited.
I'd love to create a crowd-sourced collection of papers / structures in which cryo-EM has been applied to plant science - if you know of any, can you add links and comments below?
Here's a nice overview of the method from 2015, from Nature, with a great title:
The revolution will not be crystallized: a new method sweeps through structural biology
The wonderful Andy Brunning put this together today - click for higher resolution image and credits.
