Brief Description

The University of Chicago’s Department of Molecular Genetics and Cell Biology ( in the Biological Sciences Division seeks a tenure-track assistant professor working on molecular genetics, molecular biology, cell biology, developmental biology, the interface between any of these areas and the physical sciences, and related areas. We welcome applicants whose research uses model systems (animals, plants, and microorganisms) to address fundamental questions at the molecular and cellular scales, and/or focuses on the physics/chemistry of living systems.
