A day in the life of an undergraduate researcher

Science IRL video about NSF REU program at BTI

Hi everyone! My name is Molly and I am a PhD student in the Kramer Lab at Harvard where I study the development & evolution of columbine flowers. I also produce and host a YouTube channel called Science IRL, which is all about what being a scientist is like (you guessed it) in real life. We just released a new episode that we shot at the Boyce Thompson Institute during their NSF Research Experience for Undergraduates summer program - it follows several students through their day in the lab and offers some great words of wisdom about getting started in plant biology research. Katie Rogers suggested I post it here since it might be of interest - hope you enjoy!
