I recently completed my research internship on studying "Screening of rice MAGICHeat population for key grain quality attributes under high night temperature (HNT) conditions" at lab of applied functional genomics cluster, International Rice Research Institute in Philippines.
I am looking for a research position or PhD in the similar area of abiotic stress or fundmanetal plant biological studies in any labs around the globe. I have been studying the genetics of heat stress in rice endosperm development and how the seed phenotypes impacts rice grain quality at different developmental stages of heat treatment at the grain quality and nutrition center, International Rice Research Institute, Philippines. I have also been working as an international trainee at the Biological research center (BRC) of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences previously, and was focusing on the effects of ascorbate on the oxygen evolving complex of the photosystem II. So, I clearly see this topic as very challenging and would like to pursue a doctorate or relevant research career in this these areas. My overall experience is in plant molecular biology, biochemistry and genetics and breeding, with skills in data analysis software like R programming, and other soft skills. I am fluent in English and a very good team player. I am exposed to a multicultural environment and would be suitable to work in any international organisations. I am very motivated and willing to learn new technologies. I have a positive mindset and look forward to the betterment of the professional environment and society.
