Dr. Katarzyna Glowacka is an assistant professor in the University of Nebraska Lincoln. Her lab works on abiotic stresses in plants such as improving water efficiency, dealing with chill tolerance in C4 crops and overall improvement of genetic transformation in crops. In this audio interview we discuss the scope of her research with a focus on the challenges faced by a single field season . She also talks about the importance of learning statistics and R in an increasingly inter disciplinary world of research.
