The Southern Section of the American Society of Plant Biologists invites fellow plant biologists to the 82nd Annual Meeting of the Southern Section of the American Society of Plant Biologists (SS-ASPB) which will be held virtually on Zoom from April 16 -18, 2021. We welcome research presentations from students, undergraduate and graduate, and from faculty and scientists in all plant biology fields. The traditional undergraduate poster presentation and graduate student oral presentation competitions will spark enthusiasm, new ideas and knowledge!

Special attraction: The Kriton Hatzios Symposium theme is “Evolution of Signaling Mechanisms in Plants" and the speakers are:

•           Jennifer Nemhauser, University of Washington

•           Simon Gilroy, University of Wisconsin, Madison

•           Alan Jones, University of North Carolina

•           Pradeep Kachroo, University of Kentucky

Registration for the 2021 Zoom virtual SS-ASPB meeting is free for all. To register for this meeting, you must be a Southern Section Member, which costs $5.00. You do not have to be an ASPB member. If we reach the maximum attendee capacity before March 26, 2021 (11:59 PM, EST) we will close the registration.
