Bio

I'm a graduate student in the Kramer Lab at Harvard University. I study the development and evolution ofAquilegia (columbines).

I'm really passionate about science communication, and spend most of my free time on my YouTube series, Science In Real Life (Science IRL). You can find us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, too.

Before I joined the Kramer lab I worked on early land plant evo-devo as an undergraduate at Cornell University; on the molecular systematics of African Angraecoid orchids as a technician at the New York Botanical Garden; and on nitrogen signaling systems biology as a research assistant at New York University.
