Bio

Natalie works at the American Society of Plant Biologists, coordinating the Plant Science Research Network, Fascination of Plants Day 2017, the National Plant Science Council, Phenome 2017, and Phenome 2018 conferences. 

Natalie completed her PhD in Genetics at Cornell University in 2015, studying epigenetic variation in a family of retroposons in Arabidopsis. Since then, she's moved away from bench science, working to develop recommendations for the future of plant science research and training. Natalie has an interest in diversity and inclusion, as well as improving graduate and postdoctoral training.
