I am an agronomist/plant molecular biologist and my research is primarily focused on plant reproduction and crop breeding. Basically, I aim to gain insights into the molecular control of reproductive processes, such as meiosis, gamete formation and fertilization, and I additionally try to translate gained fundamental knowledge into innovative breeding applications.
